School Security

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School has a responsibility for providing a safe and secure environment for our students and staff.

Our school is secured at all hours, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  Access to the school building is granted by an door access card/FOB for authorized personnel only.  For those without a card, access is granted by pressing a security system button at our main entrance.  The school office monitors this entrance for entry requests.

All employees at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School site are required to wear an ID badge, while on the premises.  Visitors and volunteers must report to the school office for a temporary id, when they enter the school building.

The office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm Monday thru Friday.  The class times for grades K-5 are 8:25am – 3:10pm and for grades 6-8 are 7:35am – 2:40pm.  Students are asked to enter the building through the southwest or southeast doors located at the school playground.  If your child is late arriving at school they must obtain request access from the school office at the main school entrance.

At times, students will have larger items and special projects needed for class.  Parents can bring these items to the office.  Students can pick these up when they come into the building for their morning classes.

At school dismissal, teachers will walk students to the bus or the school main entrance.

Our goal at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is to ensure each and every child can learn in a school environment that is safe and secure.
