I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I moved to Wisconsin when I was fifteen and have been here since. I obtained my bachelors degree in Spanish at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. I now reside in Green Bay with my husband Scott Eggart and two children Brady and Genesis. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, playing volleyball and dominoes. Teaching Spanish is one of my passions in life and my goal as a teacher is for my students to become passionate about learning a different language. I believe that learning a second language opens the door to succeed socially and academically. In the past I worked for Milwaukee Public Schools assisting children with special needs, I also worked for the School District of New London as an assistant, interpreter, and translator. I also taught Spanish at Wisconsin International School for 6 years. I am very excited to begin my 4th year at OLOL. As a teacher every year I look forward to enhancing every student’s passion for learning the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. Seeing a student’s language growth keeps renewing my desire for teaching the Spanish language and sharing the Hispanic culture with others.
