Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!
I am very excited to get to spend a good majority of the year with your students! I am very passionate about art and spreading creativity with others, so I bet that we are going to have an AWESOME year! I am so excited!
***Here is a “check-list” that all the students will be introduced to on the first days of class that they will need to be aware of all year long when they think that their projects are finished. It is my goal to have students use all the time they are given to complete marvelous works of art that they are proud of.
***Here is a sneak peak of what 6th grade artists will be working on hopefully the first day of class if I do not talk too much about rules and expectations! They will be learning about sculptures and refreshing about basic elements of art. I like to do something simple and fun in the first art class. I like the artists to start creating as soon as possible! No time to waste!!
This week was my first full week with all the kids! They are all so sweet and so much fun! I am very excited for what this year is going to bring. The Tuesday classes have already been busy creating because they have had 2 art classes already!
**Here is what you will see thus far in the art hallway!
