Accreditation

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School has been accredited by the Wisconsin Religious and Independent School Association (WRISA). Receiving an accreditation indicates our school has met the Association’s standards, which cover all aspects of the school including philosophy, school and community, administration and governance, professional staff, school climate, curriculum, instructional materials and resources, student services, physical facilities, and planning and management.

A WRISA accreditation is granted for one year. OLOL maintains our accreditation by submitting an annual report and an updated long-range plan report to the WRISA. The school is then placed on an accreditation cycle that requires a new self-study and hosts a visiting team of outside educators every seven years.

A self-study of the Association’s standards is conducted by members, parents and teachers at OLOL. Following this self-study, a team of outside educators representing the Association visits the school and makes additional recommendations on improvements. All recommendations are then formulated into a long-range plan for school improvement.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School hosted a visit from the Wisconsin Religious and Independent School Association (WRISA) in March of 2003. We are proud to have received an Accreditation and are committed to challenging each student to grow academically, socially, and spiritually within a Christ-centered environment.
